Li Hongbo, Out Of Paper

A Chinese artist has harnessed traditional paper art to transform logs, rocks and statues into moving objects

Prepare not to believe your eyes. This Chinese artist turns seemingly solid objects

into pieces of art that can stretch, bend and flow by recreating them out of paper.
Li Hongbo, a former book editor, uses corrugated pieces of paper based on

traditional

Chinese paper gourds. The results can turn one object into something else entirely.
Learning about the complexity of his creations and the precision he needs to employ

is astonishing.
